Soulframe Library is an independent fan community project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Digital Extremes. The Soulframe name, logo, artwork, and all other intellectual property belong to Digital Extremes and are used on this site for informational purposes only.
1. Scope
This policy covers the services Soulframe Library provides under this domain. The site is operated by a community team of volunteers. It explains what data is processed and why, how long it is kept, and which third-party services are involved.
2. Data We Process
During a visit we record the address of the page viewed, the time zone reported by your browser, and an irreversible session digest derived from your IP address and browser details; your raw IP address is not stored. When you create an account we process your email address, your chosen display name, and an irreversibly hashed password; profile image, cover image, bio, and social links are optional. Linked to your account we keep your map progress, personal map markers, achievements, friendships, and profile visits. Reports, suggestions, and applications sent through our forms store the text you wrote, your optional contact details, and any images you attached.
3. Purposes of Processing
Data is processed to create and secure your account, remember your preferences, maintain your map progress and achievements, review the reports you send, prevent abuse, and measure in aggregate which content draws interest. Data is never sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties for marketing.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
A required authentication cookie keeps you signed in, and a further cookie carries the interface language in the admin panel. Preferences such as theme, language, and music player settings are kept only in your browser's local storage and are never sent to the server. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.
5. Third-Party Services
The site uses the following services: Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse of registration and form submissions; Google Fonts to deliver typefaces; an SMTP email provider for account verification and notification messages; and an AI provider to prepare the information notes on the home page. Only the site's own content is sent to the AI provider — never visitor data. The hosting infrastructure keeps technical logs for a short period. Social links such as Discord, YouTube, and X take you to third-party platforms governed by their own privacy policies.
6. Retention, Security and Your Rights
Passwords are stored irreversibly and cannot be viewed by any staff member. Email addresses are visible only to the account holder. The database is backed up daily and backups are retained for a limited period. If you want data associated with your account corrected or deleted, you can send your request through the contact channel below.
7. Changes and Contact
This policy may be updated as the site develops; the current version is always published on this page. For privacy questions and requests you can reach us through our community Discord server.
